KIDDALI TERMS

Terms & Conditions

Effective October 8, 2026 · Version 2026-10-08-v1

Kiddali is a trip-monitoring and coordination tool, not a transport provider, emergency service, or guarantee of passenger safety. GPS, arrival estimates, and alerts can be delayed or unavailable. Parents and school-service providers remain responsible for their transport arrangements.

1. Agreement and eligibility

These terms govern the Kiddali website, Parent App, Driver App, and related features. Before creating a Kiddali account, read and agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. Account holders must be at least 18 and authorized to act as a parent, guardian, driver, or school-service operator. Children must not create their own accounts. Google sign-in identifies you but does not independently verify guardian authority or driver qualifications.

2. Monitoring and coordination only

Kiddali provides software for trip monitoring, location sharing, route coordination, passenger records, messages, and notifications. Kiddali does not operate vehicles, employ or supervise independent drivers, transport passengers, or provide insurance. Connecting a provider is not an endorsement, background check, licensing verification, or safety certification. Independently verify the provider and your transport arrangements.

3. Transport responsibility

Transport providers are responsible for their drivers, vehicles, licensing, permits, insurance, routes, supervision, passenger pickup and handover, and legal compliance. Parents and guardians remain responsible for choosing a suitable provider, giving accurate instructions, and confirming pickup and release arrangements. Transport fees and agreements are separate from a Kiddali subscription. Kiddali does not guarantee prevention of an accident, incident, delay, loss, or injury.

4. Accurate account information

Provide accurate information and update it when it changes. Keep your sign-in credentials and device secure and report suspected unauthorized access through Support. Do not impersonate another person or share access without authorization. A parent contact number may be optional during setup; keeping a reachable emergency contact with your actual transport provider remains your responsibility.

5. Children and guardian authority

Submit a child's identity, school, pickup details, and trip information only if you are their parent, legal guardian, or otherwise lawfully authorized. Obtain additional permissions required by law or a school. Providers may use this information only for the authorized school-service purpose. Do not upload unnecessary sensitive information, identity documents, or medical records. Obtain authorization before sharing an adult student's information.

6. Invitations and connections

Invite links and QR codes are intended only for the family and provider who need to connect. Verify the recipient before sharing or accepting an invite; do not publish private invitations. Connections authorize relevant sharing under the Privacy Policy, not access to every family or vehicle. Review connections and request disconnection through available controls or Support when the arrangement ends. Revocation does not erase information already legitimately received.

7. Live GPS and map limitations

GPS positions, maps, routes, and arrival estimates are approximate and may be stale, inaccurate, or unavailable. Signal, internet access, battery saving, device permissions, background restrictions, inaccurate pins, traffic, outages, or third-party services can affect them. A marker is not proof of a child's exact location or safety. Check the update time and confirm important information directly with the driver. Never rely solely on Kiddali to locate a child or decide whether a trip is safe.

8. Notifications and trip status

Pickup, drop-off, buzzer, arrival, and messaging notifications depend on device settings, connectivity, and user actions. They may be delayed, missed, duplicated, or entered incorrectly. A driver-entered status is a report, not independent confirmation of a handover. Independently confirm important pickups, releases, and unexpected events.

9. Driver safety and device use

Drivers must obey traffic rules, follow road signs and safe conditions rather than an unsafe route suggestion, and concentrate on driving. Set up routes before moving. Stop safely before interacting with the app or use an authorized assistant where lawful. Maintain a suitable charged device and data connection. Never use Kiddali as a reason to drive distracted or violate a law.

10. Not an emergency service

Kiddali does not provide continuous human surveillance, emergency dispatch, rescue, or guaranteed incident detection. For danger, a missing child, a medical emergency, or an accident, contact the transport provider, school, and appropriate emergency authorities immediately. Do not wait for an app response, GPS refresh, message, or support ticket.

11. Plans and feature access

Features may depend on your plan, an eligible child, valid connections, and supported devices. Review plan information before subscribing. Drivers currently use Kiddali without a Kiddali+ subscription; a parent's paid access does not pay for transport. Premium access can end when a trial or paid period expires. You can still contact your provider directly outside the app.

12. Payments and renewals

Checkout must show the selected plan, total due, billing interval, and coverage before payment. PayMongo or another disclosed provider processes payments under its own terms. Access is activated after server verification; a redirect or screenshot is not proof of payment. Current manual renewals require a new payment and do not automatically charge you. Any future auto-renewal must be clearly disclosed and separately authorized. Report incorrect or duplicate charges through Support. Mandatory refund and consumer rights remain available.

13. Free trials and cancellation

Eligible accounts may receive the disclosed 30-day Kiddali+ trial under the current offer. Repeated or fraudulent trial claims are not permitted. The end date and paid offer must be shown in the app. A trial does not authorize an undisclosed charge. You may choose not to renew. Turning off a future renewal does not by itself reverse a completed payment; refunds remain subject to the disclosed policy and applicable law.

14. Family add-ons

Extra student or guardian access is charged as disclosed in review and checkout. Add-ons may have monthly billing even with a yearly base plan. For mid-period purchases, review the prorated amount and displayed dates: new coverage aligns with its applicable billing period without silently shortening previously paid access. Changes must not create an undisclosed charge. Contact Support if coverage or amounts appear incorrect.

15. Privacy and necessary sharing

The Privacy Policy explains account and child information, saved pins, trip events, driver GPS, messages, payment references, and diagnostics. Sharing is limited to relevant authorized connections, necessary service providers and support, and lawful requests. Agreeing to these terms is not a waiver of data-protection rights or unlimited permission to collect or disclose personal information. Device permissions and any optional processing require appropriate separate choices.

16. Acceptable use

Do not harass, threaten, stalk, exploit children, publish private locations, access another account, manipulate trip or payment records, distribute malware, or interfere with the system. Use messages and content only for legitimate coordination. You are responsible for submitted information and must have permission to use it. Report abuse through Support.

17. Availability, third parties, and ownership

Kiddali may experience maintenance, outages, or changes. Maps, authentication, notifications, hosting, and payments depend on third parties and their terms and availability. Uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Branding and software belong to their respective owners; you receive permission to use the service as intended, not ownership. You retain rights to submitted content and permit its necessary use to provide and secure the service.

18. Responsibility and limits of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Kiddali is not responsible for independent transport providers' acts or omissions, transport accidents, handover failures, or losses caused by information or services outside its control. The software is not a guarantee of passenger safety or uninterrupted tracking. These terms do not exclude or limit liability where prohibited by law, including non-waivable responsibilities for fraud, unlawful conduct, or applicable data-protection and consumer obligations. They do not release a provider from its duties or prevent you from exercising a legal right.

19. Suspension, deletion, and changes

We may restrict access to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements, or serious violations, with notice where appropriate and lawful. Request account deletion through Account Deletion or Support. Necessary legal, security, and transaction records may be retained under the Privacy Policy. Material changes will be dated and communicated. Where renewed agreement is required, it must be requested before relevant continued use. New terms do not retroactively authorize an undisclosed payment.

20. Governing law and contact details

Applicable Philippine law governs these terms without removing mandatory rights or remedies. If a provision is invalid, the remaining lawful provisions continue. Use Support for service questions, complaints, payments, or privacy requests. Formal operator and contact details below are unfilled and must be completed when confirmed.
